Adelaide radio ratings: Triple J falls from close second to fourth in drive while Mix wins overall share

Triple J’s drive show with Veronica and Lewis has suffered a major ratings point loss in survey two of 2017, declining 3.6 ratings points, bringing their share down to 8.6%

The program, which was in second place at 12.2% in survey one – just 0.5 points behind Nova91.9’s share of 12.7% – has now slipped behind other competitors including Mix102.3 and Hit107.

Nova’s drive program with Kate Ritchie, Tim Blackwell and Marty Sheargold dominated with a 13.4% share, up 0.7 ratings points from survey one.

Kate, Tim and Marty were ahead of Mix’s drive program with Hughesy and Kate, who placed second with a share of 11.7%, despite an 0.4 ratings point loss.

Hit’s drive program, Hamish and Andy, slipped into third after a 1.2 ratings point loss, bringing Hit’s drive-time share to 10%.

Mix’s breakfast show with Jodie and Soda held first place for survey two, with an 0.6 ratings point increase and a share of 12.1%.

In the second survey of the year, Nova’s breakfast show, Lewis and Lowe with Hayley Pearson continued to climb in the ratings, bringing its share to 10% after a ratings point increase of 0.6.

While Triple J’s new breakfast show Ben and Liam had a strong start to the year with a 2.3 ratings points increase, it slipped 0.7 ratings points in the second survey, bringing its share to 7.5%.

ABC Adelaide, formerly ABC 891, climbed 0.9 ratings points in survey two, with a share of 11.8%. Despite the increase overall, the channel lost 0.6 ratings points at breakfast and climbed 0.1 ratings points in drive.
