Airtasker creates ‘To-do, Ta-da’ rap featuring proper wizard Wesley Hardcastle
Airtasker has created a rap inspired television commercial ‘To-do, Ta-da’ featuring proper wizard Wesley Hardcastle as it tries to reduce the level of guilt people feel when outsourcing tasks.
Created by UDKU, the ad features Wizard Wesley preparing for a party in his ’60s-inspired house getting by using Airtasker to complete a range of different jobs.
Wizard Wesley uses Airtasker to repair a broken statue, set up stereo equipment and build a poolside bar.
Alexandra Aguirre Tully, brand marketing manager at Airtasker, added: “What sets Airtasker apart is the sheer variety of tasks you can get done and increasingly we’re seeing a growing demand for help with smaller day to day jobs.
“If there’s something on your to-do list, someone on Airtasker is has the skills do it for you.
“The challenge for us is helping Australians recognise the tasks that are taking up their time and getting them to feel okay about outsourcing to someone who’s happy to do it for them.”
Another example of a company dumning down with a moronic ad that celebrates and promotes ripping off Australian workers

Bore off Bill, the advert is supposed to be fun. The arguments for and against are irrelevant to the advert, it must be being so miserable that keeps you alive Mr Killjoy
