BWM Isobar and DentsuMB promotes Sophie Lander to Sydney GM

Dentsu’s BWM Isobar and DenstuMcGarryBowen (DentsuMB) has appointed Sophie Lander as its Sydney general manager.

It is a new role following the merger of BWM Dentsu and Isobar to create BWM Isobar back in June 2021. As part of the merger, Dentsu ANZ CEO Angela Tangas revealed that Dentsu would be serving global Dentsu creative accounts at a local level under the DentsuMB brand.

The role will cover some of what the former Sydney managing director, Brent Kerby, was doing. Kerby moved from the Dentsu agency to take up the role of CEO at Clemenger BBDO Sydney earlier this year.
