Cartology sales leader joins rival Reo
Ooh Media’s retail media arm Reo has nabbed a senior sales leader from Cartology.
Renae Usher joins in the newly created role of director of sales, where she will drive Reo’s revenue strategy. She will work closely with retailers and brand partners to deliver “best-in-class retail media solutions”.
Her appointment comes during a period of growth for Reo, having announced several new retail media partnerships recently, including with Australia Post, Petbarn, and Officeworks. Reo has said it is also in “advanced discussions” with a number of other high street retailers.

“Renae’s appointment is a significant signal of reo’s ambition as we continue to build out our team and drive growth for retailers across Australia and New Zealand,” Andrew Every, chief strategy and retail media officer at Ooh Media, said in a media release on Thursday.
“She has proven experience in scaling retail media networks, collaborating with retailers and their brand partners and her sales leadership will be instrumental in delivering them commercial success while helping shape the next evolution of retail media.”
Usher joins Reo from Cartology, where she spent nearly four years in partnerships management. There, she worked with brand including Coca-Cola, Pepsi Co, Mondelez, and Nestlé. Prior to that, she held senior agency relationship management roles at Nine and Fairfax.
“Over the past three years at Cartology, I’ve had a front row seat to the growth of retail media and the value it can unlock for both retailers and brands,” Usher said in the release.
