Changi Airport hires AUNZ PR agency, appointing Adhesive

Adhesive PR has won the public relations for Changi Airport Group following a competitive pitch process, and will handle the airport’s media relations and influencer partnerships.

Prior to appointing Adhesive PR, Changi Airport Group did not have a PR agency of record in the AUNZ region.

Adhesive PR has been engaged by the airport because Australia is Changi Airport’s fourth largest aviation traffic market.

The win comes just one week after the agency won the PR account for e-retailer The Iconic.

Myfanwy McGregor, director at Adhesive PR, said: “As Skytrax’s ‘World’s Best Airport’ for the sixth consecutive year in 2018, the challenge is not raising awareness of the airport, but rather crafting strategic campaigns that will dispel misperceptions that may be hindering travel to Singapore and reaching the right consumer segments.”

Adhesive PR’s clients include Sony, Dyson, TripAdvisor, Singapore Tourism Board, Discover Los Angeles, LAX, The Iconic and Jansz Tasmania.
