Director David Barker joins The Precinct
Australian Directors Guild’s Best Director in 2013 David Barker has joined production house The Precinct.
The co-creator of both Film Headquarters and Taxi Films in Queensland won the Australian Directors Guild award with his cross platform music video for Melbourne rockers ‘Stonefield’.
Henry Motteram, The Precinct manging director, said: “David’s experience across short and long form content is a perfect fit for The Precinct. We’re excited to have him on board and look forward to producing some great work together.”
His work on the sci-fi comedy web series ‘The Future Machine’, which he co-created, co-wrote, directed and produced, landed him an Outstanding Achievement in Direction at the LA Webfest.
