The Hausmann Group opens new social agency GROUND
The Hausmann Group has launched a new social agency, GROUND, co-founded by former We Are Social senior account director, Colin Fairley.
GROUND aims to create “ideas which matter” and help brands create meaningful connections with audiences.
The agency will use fan and pop culture to try and engage audiences with brands.
GROUND’s offerings will include social research and strategy, content creation, brand consulting, creative development, activations and influencer and media engagement.
Fairley, who has been consulting to The Hausmann Group for eight months, said in a statement: “Channels evolve, algorithms shift and people’s consumption behaviour varies, but effective communications remains grounded in your ability to be interesting and relevant to the people you’re talking to.
“GROUND is an agency established with a simple mission: to do stuff that matters to people. We back that up with a deep expertise in delivery across multiple channels and disciplines to ensure the right ideas reach the right people to create the right outcomes.”
Judi Hausmann, CEO of The Hausmann Group, added: “This agency is about smashing the mould of conventional, brand-first thinking to make cool shit that people really enjoy and remember. I’m very excited to have this already flourishing business under the Hausmann roof.”
The Hausmann Group’s agencies include Banter, Illuminate Communications, Health Huas and HSPR.
At Mumbrella’s CommsCon senior communications executives will weigh in on the future of social media and influencers in its ‘Lost Cause of Low Hanging Fruit: The future of Influencers’ will discuss how the rules of play on social platforms are changing.
This is sick – well done Colin and Hausmann.
