Imagination hires David Mugford as senior art director

Imagination has appointed David Mugford as senior art director.

The announcement:

Imagination Australia welcomes another key hire to its talent roster with the addition of senior digital art director David Mugford to its Sydney office.

David, an internationally recognised Art Director, brings a wealth of expertise to Imagination having worked at some of the world’s most awarded creative advertising agencies in the United States and his native Australia.

Over the last decade, he has held roles at Leo Burnett Sydney, Creata Digital and, most recently, Deutsch Los Angeles. He has created award-winning work for brands including Volkswagen, McDonald’s, Target, Uber, Canon, Bundaberg Rum, Smirnoff, Coca-Cola, Samsung and the Australian Bureau of Statistics among others. His work has been recognised and awarded by D&AD, Cannes, theFWA, One Show, AWARD, the Interactive Advertising Bureau Awards, Young Guns and The Webbys.

Specialising in design, UI and concept development, Dave is passionate about crafting multisensory interactive experiences. His expertise spans many disciplines, ranging from
mobile games, augmented reality apps, social campaigns, eCommerce sites to packaging designs and interactive soda dispensers.
