Jimmy Brings releases mobile game for 2021 State of Origin

Jimmy Brings has released a mobile game, Jimmy Kicks, in preparation for next week’s the State of Origin via independent creative agency Paper Moose.

The in-browser mobile game sees players kick a football over goal posts, with the aim to score the most number of goals.

The top ten players of Jimmy Kicks are set to win more than $25,000 worth of prizes, including items from Koala, The Iconic, Dinnerly, and JBL.

The game has been played over 54,000 times in its first 24 hours.

Nick Hunter, executive creative director at Paper Moose, said: “State of Origin is a calendar highlight for all rugby league fans across the country. We’re proud to have created a game that tips its hat to the classic Queensland/New South Wales rivalry but is still super enjoyable and accessible to anyone.”

Paper Moose’s previous campaign for Jimmy Brings featured a tongue twister to promote the brand to AFL fans.

Jimmy Brings other previous campaigns have been done in-house and with R/GA.

Earlier this month, Paper Moose announced a program where clients could choose to donate time and resources to selected organisations.

Paper Moose recently announced the appointment of James Sykes as head of strategy and two creative directors.
