Loud wins $3m Novartis Animal Health account

Multicultural marketing agency Loud has won the $3m account for Novartis Animal Health.

The announcement:

Sydney, 11 November 2011: LOUD has been appointed by Novartis Animal Health Australiasia to reposition their brand Sentinel Spectrum®. Billings for the win are $3million.

“LOUD brought a new level of insight and understanding of the dog owner to offer up a unique approach to communicating to them,” said Andrew Palmer, Head of Marketing & Technical Services ANZ.

Sentinel Spectrum® was launched in 2009 but has only been communicated to vet professionals and retail. Novartis Animal Health identified the opportunity to grow the brand further and LOUD presented them with a strategic direction to capture a strong brand to consumer fit.

“We’re very excited to be working with Novartis on Sentinel Spectrum®.

There’s currently a lot of sameness in the way brands communicate with dog owners in the companion animal healthcare market. This is understandable with the functional benefits – protection from fleas and worms – being quite similar across the category. However this is certainly an opportunity for us to change the way we approach dog owners,” said Paul Redfern, Planner at LOUD.
