Mumbrella Digital School returns to explain programmatic, content marketing and clear up social advertising confusion

Mumbrella Digital School is back in 2018 to tackle some of the biggest topics in digital media and marketing. Programmatic and display advertising, content marketing, social advertising and search will be addressed from the bottom up by some of the industry’s foremost experts.

The six-week night course runs from February 19 to March 26, and tickets are on sale now for both the full program or individual modules.

Automated advertising expert Chris Brinkworth will return to explain the essence of big data. Currently one of the more confusing topics in marketing, big data is a term experts throw around without understanding its complexities. Brinkworth will take it back to basics, explaining its history.

Telstra insights manager Vincent Koc will also lead a module on the changing face of search, which now underpins new tech including voice and social. Koc will explain how it works and why the two trillion global searches on Google can change your marketing strategy.

Other modules will tackle the fundamentals of mobile marketing, the essentials of social advertising and the challenges and opportunities of content marketing.

All the lessons have a ground-up approach, ensuring that participants understand the basic principles before moving on to deal with the methodologies to help them boost their current marketing strategies and enhance their future plans.

The first module, Beating the Blockers: The Brighter Side of Digital Display and Programmatic, with Darren Patterson begins on February 19 at Mumbrella House in Sydney.
