New entry deadlines and judging process for the Mumbrella Awards announced

The new entry dates for the 2020 Mumbrella Awards have been finalised.

The entry dates for the Mumbrella Awards 2020 have been changed

Entries are now due on Tuesday, June 30, with late entries accepted at an additional cost up to Tuesday, July 7.

Eligibility dates for the awards have also been updated to take into account the new dates. Entries will now be judged for the period of March 16, 2019, to June 30, 2020 rather than the usual 12-month period.

In addition, the live judging process at the Hilton Hotel as well as the roving juries for Creative Agency of the Year and Media Agency of the Year awards will now be moved online.

Live judging will still take place, but over video conference instead

All shortlisted entries aside from the TV Ad of the Year will be required to participate in a video call with the relevant jury group on September 15. All entrants need to keep this date free – exact times for the video calls will be confirmed after the shortlist is announced.

The shortlist and winners will still be announced in 2020 and Mumbrella will publish the winning entries in full.

A new date for the Mumbrella Awards gala dinner remains under consideration.
