Socceroos stars write thank you letters to mentors in Hyundai Australia’s ‘Letters’ campaign

Socceroos players have written thank you letters to the people who mentored them throughout their journey to the World Cup in Hyundai Australia’s ‘Letters’ campaign.

The ads, created by Octagon and Milkmoney in partnership with Football Federation Australia, feature Socceroo Mark Milligan writing a letter to his grandfather who passed away last year.

Milligan thanks his grandfather for being there from the very start, being a calming influence and encouraging him through the times when he doubted himself.

Another two minute spot shows Josh Risdon writing a letter to thank former Perth Glory manager Kenny Lowe.

Risdon thanks Lowe for teaching him how to love the game and play with a smile on his face.

Lowe also features in the ad as he reads the letter Risdon wrote him.

Four Letters campaigns have been created and will be rolled out across Hyundai’s social channels with a 30 second spot airing on the free to air networks.
