Think HQ hires Ashley Broadway and Nathan Barrow

Communications agency Think HQ has appointed Ashley Broadway and Nathan Barrow to join its PR, creative and interactive teams.

Broadway takes the role of senior account executive after moving from The P.R. Group, where she worked with clients in the tech/start-up space including SEEK, GoFundMe and Prospa. Previously she was a member of the Professional Public Relations Melbourne team.

Barrow joins Think HQ as senior art director having previously worked on VicHealth’s This Girl Can campaign and projects addressing gambling harm and elder abuse.

Broadway and Barrow join the 24 strong agency which recruited Hannah Turner from The Shannon Company as a digital strategist last month and earlier this year appointed Red Agency founder Neil Travers as a strategic adviser.

“Joining Think HQ was a no brainer,” Barrow said. “For me the opportunity to influence positive social change is far more satisfying than just advertising the latest brands or products.”

“I’m stoked to land in an agency that prides itself on a values-led approach, and see my tech-based PR skills translate into comms strategies that have a positive and tangible impact in the community.” Broadway said.

Think HQ founder and Director Jen Sharpe has welcomed the newest members to what is now a team of 24 at the agency.

“It’s pleasing to see that as Think HQ grows, we are attracting talent from a diverse range of backgrounds who are seeking to commit their skills to our vision of delivering values-led communications services to create positive social impact.”

Think HQ is currently working with clients on issues including domestic violence, disability employment, climate change, safer roads, employee engagement and regulation of the environment and financial sectors.

Earlier this year the agency launched Lumin, a comms training platform for the social change and community sectors, and appointed Elen Clement to lead Lumin’s London office.
