We Are Social hires six
Social media marketing agency We Are Social has made six hires. The agency recently moved from Sydney’s Fox Studios to Regent Street in Chippendale.

We Are Social, Australia’s only full service social media marketing agency, has today announced a number of new appointments which have been made as a result of the agency’s ongoing expansion.
Alica Kroupa – Senior Account Manager
Alica will work on the Expedia Australia/New Zealand accounts and across a number of other business development projects. Prior to joining We Are Social, Alica was based in London for two years, where she was part of the social media team at Brands2Life, responsible for clients including Sony UK and Appletiser.
Juliette Olah – Social Media Content Manager
Juliette’s role will be to manage social media content for Ebay Fashion. Having a skilled background as a fashion journalist, and designer, Juliette brings to the position expert knowledge of fashion and trends, as well as online copywriting and content creation.
Previously, Juliette worked as Social Media Content Manager at digital agency VML.
Chris Bridgland – Account Director
Chris will work on the Kia Motors and Roadshow Films business, providing strategic direction on these key accounts. He was previously with Holler London for over two years as a senior marketing strategist, responsible for successful brand campaigns for UK clients including Mercedes, Red Bull and Peroni.
Danny McGillick – Creative Technologist
Danny will be responsible for Facebook and mobile development in Flash/Unity. Prior to joining We Are Social he was with TBWA/DAN (formerly Tequila) for five years as a creative technologist, and was also a front end developer at Massive Interactive.
Kate West – Digital Producer
Kate will manage a range of challenging and diverse interactive/digital projects at We Are Social. Her previous experience has included roles as a producer at Chook, Network Ten and Fairfax Digital.
Luke Adlam – Developer
Luke will work on development projects at We Are Social. Previously he was lead developer at Virtus Media Group for 18 months.
Commenting on the latest appointments, We Are Social Managing Director Julian Ward said: “We’re delighted to welcome these talented new recruits to our fast-growing team and look forward to the valuable contributions they’ll no doubt make to our clients’ business.”
We Are Social has offices in eight countries including the UK, USA, and Singapore, and employs more than 280 staff.
