Zing picks up Banrock Station business
Wine brand Banrock Station has appointed PR Agency Zing to work on its latest campaign.
The announcement:
Zing is pleased to announce the recent addition of Constellation Wines’ brand, Banrock Station, to its client list.
Banrock Station has been bringing the message of conservation to the world for over a decade and Zing has been tasked with increasing consumer awareness of its environmental credentials. The PR campaign, which goes live early next year, is centred around Banrock Station’s environmental commitment and will provide numerous opportunities for consumer participation.
Says Zing managing director, Preya McMahon. “This Banrock Station campaign is extremely rich in PR opportunities and we’re really looking forward to raising awareness of this fantastic environmental message.”
Says Louise Thiele, Constellation Wines, “Zing impressed us with its creative and strategic approach to publicising our message. We’re excited about this partnership and to taking consumers with us on our environmental journey.”
Zing will be responsible for outreaching to environmental organisations and publicising the campaign to raise awareness and consumer participation.

Yeah, but is the wine any good?
“This Banrock Station campaign is extremely rich in PR opportunities,” says Zing managing director, Preya McMahon. But I’d have thought PR was about messages that were relevant to me, the consumer, rather than you, the PR person looking for whatever it is that PR people look for.
So, is the wine any good?
