Big Brother double eviction outrated by X Factor
Big Brother’s double eviction rated 1.134m for Nine last night although the show was still beaten by The X Factor’s performance show which rated 1.3m for Seven.
Meanwhile, Ten’s best performer was Ten News at Five which rated 677,000 according to preliminary overnight ratings from OzTAM.
In the close race for morning TV, Sunrise beat Today by 331,000 to 325,000.
In the key advertising demographics of 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54, Big Brother was the best performing show, followed by The X Factor.
Ten’s best showing in these demographics was Can Of Worms, which was fourth amongst 16-39s and 18-49s.

I know the figures are important to advertisers, but honestly, can free to air programming get any more trashy? Advertisers will put there shit next to just about any shit the programmers dish up. It’s quite disheartening.
How about this for the programming people to get advertisers interested in their silly shows:
1- get Lara Bingle to appear on Big Brother
2- get Dicko to make a appearance on Xfactor to judge Guy Sebastian’s judging.

Sadly there is another series of BB. Is it a surprise that X factor beat BB?Given that it is at the “pointy end” of proceedings, it has to rate. Thankfully Shaiye is finally gone. She gave the worst performance of any singer on Tuesday night. Terrible!1
