Monty Noble departs Shift
Monty Noble, ECD of STW’s agency Shift, which rebranded from The Brand Shop in March is to leave the company without a new role to go to.
STW issued a statement from Noble saying he was leaving to “pursue my next challenge”.
He added: “I’m extremely proud of what we have collectively achieved during the past 10 years. Firstly building the creative reputation of Fame alongside Peter McAuliffe and DougWatson, then, in conjunction with Gavin Larkin, helping guide The Brand Shop to become one of the best agencies in the country.”
He added: “I leave the agency knowing it has great potential and is filled with wonderfully clever people.”
STW CEO Michael Connaghan said: “Monty and I have been talking for quite a while now about his next move. He led The Brand Shop exceptionally well through both the good times and some very difficult times, always doing the right thing by the group.”
Noble has developed something of a media profile including as an occasional guest on The Gruen Transfer and even appearing in an ad for client Valvoline.

I say just because you’re talented doesn’t mean you can’t be a decent human being.
Monty and Raj both prove me right.
