ComScore’s Lachlan Brahe joins Reprise Australia as GM

ComScore’s former vice president for Australia and New Zealand will become joint general manager of IPG Mediabrands’ digital experience business Reprise.

Brahe will join the business this week

Jules Kilmartin, currently head of the operation in Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide has also been promoted to GM.

Brahe will be tasked with growth and product, while Kilmartin will take responsibility for client advisory including strategy, account management and implementation.

The company also recently announced Dr Grace Liu would be joining as CEO at a yet-to-be confirmed date, following the departure of Ale Vendramin in December last year.

Both Kilmartin and Brahe will eventually report into Liu.

IPG Mediabrands’ CEO Danny Bass flagged 2018 would be a big year for the Reprise business.

“Accelerating the skill sets, effectiveness and competitive positioning of Reprise is a primary focus for us this year,” he said. “We are placing world-class leadership into the business to drive our plans, and with Grace’s pending arrival and the roles for Lachlan and Jules, we are energising what us already a successful business to achieve greater performance.”

Late last year, ComScore, an online measurement giant, announced it was winding back its local operations. Brahe had been at the helm of the local outfit since 2013.

Brahe said the industry continued to grapple with  transparency, automation and the endless supply chain – but his experience would help Reprise face the challenges head on.

“As an ad technology vendor to clients around the APAC region for the past four years, I’ve gained a wide perspective on how the industry is evolving to deal with core challenges such as transparency, automation and a seemingly endless supply chain. These aren’t media issues – they’re business issues. Often there’s a need to educate the C-suite on the changes wrought on their industry, market or audiences by the proliferation of technologies and channels capturing people’s attention. Whatever the circumstances, I’m delighted to be bringing my experience in addressing these challenges to Reprise, a team that has the attitude, skills and resources to readily deliver accountable results to clients.”

Kilmartin has been with Reprise for six years and was behind the Reprise launch in Adelaide.

Kilmartin: With Reprise for six years

“The pace of change and opportunity for our business and clients has been rapid and that speed of evolution will continue. I am looking forward to working with Grace, Lachlan and the Reprise teams to deliver best-in-market results for clients.”

Kilmartin’s promotion is effective immediately and Brahe will join the business later this week.
