Gary McCreadie lands ECD role at 303 MullenLowe

Following the departure of 303 MullenLowe’s Richard Morgan earlier this month, the full service agency has announced Gary McCreadie will be stepping into the ECD role.

McCreadie announced he was departing Ugly after co-founding the business with Anomaly Amsterdam’s founding partner and CEO Hazelle Klonhammer, and M&C Saatchi’s former head of strategy Ross Berthinussen in April last year.

McCreadie: “I’m really excited to join the 303 team. It feels like a fantastic opportunity at such an exciting time for the agency.”

Before starting Ugly, McCreadie was an ECD at TBWA Sydney for three years, departing the Omnicom agency in February last year.

McCreadie was replaced at TBWA by M&C Saatchi’s Andy DiLallo.

Nick Cleaver, CEO at 303 MullenLowe, said McCreadie’s track record speaks for itself and his appointment is critical to the agency’s history.

“He is responsible for some of BBH London’s most celebrated campaigns and has demonstrated he has been able to continue that award-winning work here in Australia.

“He’s an inspiring creative thinker and a great motivator of teams. We are really excited to have Gary join us.”

“Gary’s remit is to ensure we are maximising our creative opportunities and delivering outstanding work for our clients.”

Earlier in the month the agency announced it had won the creative and media accounts for Crust Pizza by launching its first piece of work for the brand.

In April, 303 MullenLowe launched a PR and content arm, Creature.

While in May last year the agency combined with MullenLowe MediaHub to improve 303 MullenLowe’s full service offering.
