303 MullenLowe creates first work for Crust Pizza with ‘live life on the Crust’

303 MullenLowe and Medihub have won the creative and media accounts for Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar and launched its latest campaign ‘live life on the Crust’.

Promoting different gourmet pizzas, the three 15 second ads include a cartoon cowboy riding a prawn, an avocado playing the devil’s advocate and a cow which tells Australians to ‘go your own wagyu’.

The ads are titled ‘Prawn to be wild’, ‘Let’s play devil’s avocado’ and  ‘Go your own wagyu’.

The ‘live life on the Crust’ campaign aims to position crust as a “challenger to the bland” with the campaign being promoted via radio, outdoor and television.

Zoe Jacovou, divisional marketing manager at Crust Pizza, said in a statement: “From the outset, Mediahub and 303 MullenLowe have worked together to deliver a campaign that will not only engage our customers but impassion our franchise partners and their staff.

“‘Live life on the Crust’ is a positioning that feels true to the DNA of our brand, and our Franchise Partners have really embraced it.”

Nick Cleaver, CEO of 303 MullenLowe, added: “Crust Pizza is for people who never settle for the ordinary and live life to the full.

“Once our creative and media teams had arrived at this insight, the campaign wrote itself.”
