4:46pm – The judging for the Mumbrella Awards continues. Spotify has just wrapped up its presentation for Media Brand of the Year.

3:06pm – The Pro Bono campaign of the year is being judged this afternoon. The Most Powerful Arm Ever Invented was one of the campaigns on the shortlist.
2:48pm – HG Nelson is fronting a new campaign to promote the AFC Asian Cup which comes to Australia in 2015.

2:40pm – The judging has been continuing this afternoon. Here is Clemenger BBDO Melbourne talking about its ‘Boobs’ campaign for Bonds. To see who else has been presenting to the juries today, read the shortlist here.
2:10pm – A word of caution to those presenting at towards Mumbrella Awards judging, don’t accidentally take one of the jurors’ bags as you leave – it could hurt your score…All ok, the stolen item has been returned now.
12:52pm – Judging is wrapping up for the morning, with the juries starting to filter out for lunch.
12:49pm – Ford has brought all of its agencies into one office to establish a set-up known as Blue Hive’ in a bid to streamline its marketing needs. You can read all about the ‘Blue Hive’ model here.
12:21pm – The ad watchdog has dismissed complaints that this ad for Foxtel’s Presto is ‘perverted’.
12:10pm – The managing director of the Guardian Australia has told Mumbrella it has exceeded revenues by 300 per cent in it first year. You can read the story here.
11:22am – Publishers Australia, the peak body for Australia’s magazine industry, has appointed publishing and events business Focal Attractions as its management partner with a brief to grow the association’s events portfolio and raise its profile nationally. Details here.
10:54am – The MCN sales team have brought in the big guns – here they are with Sky News’ Angelos Frangopoulos and David Speers.
10:41am – The Mamamia team have been in presenting for the sales team of the year at the Mumbrella Awards.
9:33am – TV ratings are coming in and it’s a red letter day for Seven as renovation reality show House Rules trumped Nine’s The Voice in last night’s TV ratings, forcing Ten back below a 10 per cent audience share.
9:16am – OMD proving it’s the 80-pound gorilla in the room…
9:04am – There’ve been a couple of appointments to marketing roles for major entertainment companies, with AHL and Star Casino making to hires. Former Sportingbet marketerRichard Howarth head to The Star whilst AHL, which owns QT Hotels and Thredbo amongst many assets, has promoted Ian Sutherland.
9:00am – The judges have all arrived and are being briefed by Mumbrella content director Tim Burrows.
8:34am – And so the judges are starting to arrive for today’s judgement day. It promises to be interesting, with a who’s who of Australian media and marketing passing through the Sydney hotel. See who’s on the shortlists here.
8:21am – Fan of women’s mags? Fairfax’s Magwatch column picks, quite literally, some of the best mag stories of the week, and this week it’s the focus on the royals. From the Queen picking her nose to a pact about Satanism between the Illuminati and Elizabeth I, it’s all happening, and riveting.
8:12am – Not a lot around overnight from the mainstream news sites. The Australian did muster this ‘critique’ of our feature from yesterday on The Guardian as it hits its first birthday. Warning: behind a paywall.
8:00am – Morning all, welcome along to Tuesday. It’s unusually quiet at Mumbrella House this morning as most of our team descend on The Hilton in Sydney for Mumbrella Awards live judging for more than a dozen categories. We’ll be bringing you updates from there throughout the day.
