Wavemaker elevates Katherine Williams to national head of SEM

Wavemaker has promoted Katherine Williams to national head of SEM, effective immediately.

Williams first joined the GroupM media agency as search director in July last year and has spent the last 7 months overseeing SEM product and leading the specialist team.

Prior to joining Wavemaker, Williams spent time at Resolution Digital as activation account director, having before that spent five years in New York in roles at Initiative, Heart & Science and Resolution media. She has experience implementing cross-platform strategies i search, social, eCommerce and programmatic in Australia, the UK and the US.

In her new role, Williams will report to the agency’s national head of digital Dru Nho, who joined the agency from his role as Dentsu Aegis Network head of  digital for Woolworths Group in October last year.

Williams will also work closely with GroupM head of SEM Agnes Szlahotka and GroupM Services to align and develop best practice delivery of SEM services across all Wavemaker clients nationally.
