Can someone explain why Ten persist with dedicating their only HD channel to ONE?
For such a consistently small audience share (even ABC3 frequently beats ONE), Ten seem to be pissing away the opportunity to simulcast their flagship shows in HD.
Personally I find it really unsatisfying watching their dull smudgy SD broadcast!

J-Hay, Channel Ten will stick with ONE while it delivers such a highly marketable audience. It is the first port of call for advertisers with a male focused product, and as long as it delivers on CPM, they’ll buy it.

I believe that under the Broadcasting Act they can’t simulcast – hence ONE is sport.
