Captain Risky channels inner cheerleader in latest Budget Direct spot

Captain Risky has been forced to signal for help by using two blue flags to spell out ‘help’ after crashing his bike and becoming entangled with a tree in the latest Budget Direct spot.

The 15 second ad created by 303Mullen Lowe is an extension of the brand’s ‘Get More’ campaign where Skippy the kangaroo fails to het help for Captain Risky, leaving Captain Risky to his own devices.

Captain Risky’s call for help aims to promote Budget Direct’s 24-hour phone and online claims offering, warning customers not to get stuck like Captain Risky.

The low cost car and home insurer has also released another 15 second ad to promote its hire car service for customers who have their cars stolen.

The 15 second ad shows Captain Risky riding a little girls bike over a makeshift bike jump after his car has been stolen.
