Mondelēz Europe’s marketing leader Ben Wicks returns to Australia

Mondelēz Europe’s vice president of marketing Ben Wicks has returned to Australia to take up a local role after close to seven years overseas.

Wicks, who will become the VP of marketing, ANZ at Mondelēz, is due to speak at Mumbrella360 later this month. The talk will surround the reinvigoration of the Cadbury brand.

He has been with Mondelēz for more than14 years. He held roles including the director of marketing, Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa and global brand director of Cadbury at various stages.

Wicks will share with Mumbrella360 delegates how reconnecting the brand with its authentic and purposeful roots, focusing on the core product, and bringing this purpose to life with the ‘There’s a Glass & A Half in Everyone’ campaign.

Mondelēz’s brands include Cadbury, Belvita, Oreo and Toblerone. GroupM’s Wavemaker currently holds the local media account for the company after a global pitch last August.
