Spectrum Group wins bike sharing company ofo’s PR account
Spectrum Group has won the PR account for bike sharing company ofo.
Mitchell Price, public policy and communications manager at ofo, said it has been a challenging start in the Australian market.
“We hope ofo’s bike sharing is enthusiastically embraced as communities come see the benefits of a last mile solution to their transport needs, and just the simple joy of riding.”
After launching in October last year in Adelaide ofo is now available in Sydney and is looking to expand into new markets over the coming months.
Ben Shipley, managing director at Spectrum, added: “The team is really excited to be working with ofo and look forward to showing what they specifically offer consumers, as well as the opportunities that bike sharing presents more generally for our communities.
“Ofo will continue to engage with the community, local councils, government and other stakeholders to ensure that they are doing everything possible to ensure bike sharing can be sustained as a transport option in Australia.”

Possibly the worst job in the world.
How do you sell a company that leaves it’s “merchandise” dumped all over a city?
