HERO’s Melbourne team finds new head of planning

Indie agency HERO has added marketing, CX and brand strategy expert, Ken Chan, to its Melbourne team. Chan will act as head of planning moving forward.

Adding to its recent string of major hires, award-winning independent agency HERO has appointed brand, marketing and CX strategy veteran Ken Chan to its Melbourne team as head of planning.

A seasoned strategic advisor who draws from a diverse knowledge base, Chan’s experience spans brand, marketing and business operations with his award-winning track record of work in advertising, management consulting and client-side roles.

Previously a management consultant in strategy & digital transformation with Accenture, Chan was also head of strategy at VML and Hardhat, leading both Planning and CX Strategy functions. Chan’s client experience spans a diverse set of industries and brands, including NAB, Google, Coles, Ford, Microsoft, AAMI, Defense Force Australia and Officeworks.
