ADMA launches IQ for Business to improve data skills

ADMA – the Association for Data-driven Marketing and Advertising – has launched IQ for Business, an initiative to give organisations the right skills within their team, allowing them to take advantage of new technologies and data advances.

The announcement:

The Association for Data-driven Marketing & Advertising (ADMA) announces the launch of IQ FOR BUSINESS, an innovative new offering that ensures businesses have the right skills within their team, allowing them to take full advantage of today’s evolving technology and data advances.

Businesses are increasingly seeing the benefits of leveraging data through technology currently available at their disposal. However, a large majority of businesses are seeing a widening gap between the skills the business needs and the skills that are currently available within the team.  Research regularly shows that the primary cause of digital transformation failures is when companies neglect to invest in skills to the same degree as they invest in technology.

IQ for Business provides two key offerings – Skills Assessment and In-house Training:

Skills Assessment is the best way for businesses to identify the skills that they currently have and where they are lacking.

In-house Training acknowledges where the team needs to be upskilled and brings customised learning to you, with relevant, accessible training delivered at your location, allowing your team to apply new skills faster.

Both offerings have been designed to assist companies of all sizes and can be customised to address specific business needs.

“Many businesses are undertaking a digital revolution; however projects often fail due to the lack of people with the right skills to execute,” said Richard Harris, MD of IQ. “Our Skills Assessment is the best way for businesses to prioritise their efforts on training in areas where it will provide the most value. We can then customise training to address the skills gaps. ”

“IQ for Business will evolve your business. While you could look to fix a skills shortage with new hires, a lack of highly-skilled people in the market makes hiring a challenge. Instead, you can invest, upskill and add value to your team with IQ for Business staff training and development and watch your business grow”.

IQ for Business has been set up to:

  • Understand what skills you currently have within the team.
  • Define what skills you need within your team.
  • Highlight the gaps that may impact business strategy.
  • Provide a tailored learning & development program for your team to address those gaps.
  • Offer your team access to tools and courses for them to continue their professional skills development.

Skills assessment

Helping businesses better understand their skills gap.

IQ for Business has developed a framework that can define the skills the team require given their roles and responsibilities, determine the current skills level and identify gaps.

Here’s how an Employee Skill Assessment can help:

  • Set your business on the path to success – we’ll identify opportunities for training and underutilised resources

Avoid unnecessary spend – we’ll help you target the right training areas, to avoid wasted time in training

  • Staff engagement and retention – our recommendations will help inform staff career plans, to keep them happy, productive and engaged
  • Maximise your internal resources – we’ll identify where peer-to-peer coaching may play a role in your training program
  • Measure your ROI – with repeated assessments

In-house training

In-house training is delivered at your location by experts.

Training is about changing a behaviour, doing it in-house with a team of employees ensures new ideas can be discussed in the context of how they would best be applied to your business.

Here’s how ADMA IQ’s in-house training can help:

  • Customised – select from the current IQ courses or request new, specific content based on your team’s needs and business objectives
  • Convenient – training delivered at your location at a time that suits you
  • Immersive experience – learning is embedded in your business environment
  • Feedback is a two-way street – employee feedback on the course is captured and shared, and our instructor will provide feedback to participants
