Pandora launches in-house radio for Carat

Pandora has launched an in-agency radio station for Carat Media, known as Carat Radio.

The announcement:

Pandora, the go-to music source for fans and artists, has launched Carat Radio – Powered by Pandora, its second in-agency radio station, as an extension of its Pandora for Business offering.

Carat Sydney approached Pandora earlier this year looking to partner with a music provider that could energise the office, and reflect the agency’s culture. Pandora worked closely with Carat to identify the agency’s favourite songs and artists, and working with Pandora’s Sydney-based curation team to create a personalised radio experience.

Carat Radio, which launches on June 15, will play the music that Carat staff love throughout the office all day, every day.

“Carat Radio is a fantastic way to invigorate our staff and provide an uplifting, fun and engaging office environment. We’ve had a great time working with Pandora to create a station and music experience that’s unique to Carat and our culture,” Carat CEO Paul Brooks said.

The partnership with Carat is an extension of the Pandora for Business offering. The in-agency station is Pandora’s second, following the launch of Starcom Radio six months ago.

“Following our successful partnerships with several brands this year, Pandora is using the same technology to create the ‘sound of Carat’. It’s a perfect way for brands to create a unique music experience that reflects their positioning, culture and provides an engaging environment,” Pandora ANZ Director of Business Development and Partnerships, Rick Gleave, said.

Pandora for Business has seen success over the past 12 months with partnerships including Woolworths and BWS. Both partners also have branded stations on Pandora where users can listen beyond the in-store experience, which is driving significant engagement and time spent listening.
