Salsa’s woos women with ‘sexy Mexi’ posters
Salsa’s has launched an outdoor campaign that sees a ‘sexy Mexi’ get down on one knee to propose to women in shopping centres.
If ladies take the place of a cut-out figure in the poster, they get a two-for-one special offer.
“We created this campaign to provide an opportunity to interact with the Salsa’s brand in a cheeky and irreverent way,” said Dan Bradley, director of marketing at Retail Zoo, the agency behind the campaign.
The campaign will be featured for two weeks on 276 sites in 26 shopping centres across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia, where Salsa’s stores are.
So, woman get a freebie but guys don’t? I always hate when campaigns are targeted towards a specific demographic. I understand why they do it, but I still feel like they don’t want my business

@Bem:
Maybe they feel that men already frequent their joint and want to extend something that would entice the female population to possibly come in for a bite…and more 😉
