Swan Valley uses talking coffee beans and grapes in ‘Speaks For Itself’ campaign

Western Australia’s Swan Valley has promoted all its region has to offer by lettings its attractions to speak for themselves.

Created by Perth based agency Marketforce, the campaign features coffee beans, grapes, wine glasses and stuffed toy kangaroos speaking to each other.

The campaign aims to hero the region’s wine, naive animals, beer and coffee by letting its unique offering speak for itself in literal terms.

“Our brief to Marketforce was to deliver something unexpected. To move away from the traditional style tourism campaign, to push the levels of creativity and the Speaks for Itself campaign has done just that,” Sascha Stone, coordinator of events at City of Swan, said in a statement.

The campaign will run across social channels and in cinemas.

Brad Haseldin, strategic client director at Marketforce, added: “The challenge to us was how do we generate repeat visitation from existing fans and challenge the existing perceptions of those who haven’t visited for some time and motivate them to visit again.”
