Tourism NT chooses CHEP Network as martech services partner

CHEP Network has been appointed as Tourism NT’s martech services partner, wrapping up a tender process.

The full-service ad agency’s newfound partnership with the tourism body will cover three years, encompassing “strategic stewardship in marketing technology”.

Specifically, CHEP will oversee marketing automation, experimentation, personalisation, behavioural analytics, first-party data storage, data partnership facilitations and activations, and consent management.

Overall, CHEP is expected to provide Tourism NT with an innovative, data-centric digital marketing program that prioritises personalised experiences.

Tourism NT’s director of digital and data, Kristie Beattie, said that CHEP’s ability to assess her company’s capabilities, operational needs, and technology – along with their knowledge of the Northern Territory – was impressive.

“For us, this is an incredibly significant partnership and something we have taken great care to get right,” Beattie said.

“We were impressed by CHEP Network’s depth of expertise in data-driven marketing, the agency’s understanding of our business and what challenges we face, and the team’s obvious passion and determination to implement the best solution that will deliver the highest return on investment for Tourism NT.

“Our goal is to harness the capabilities of first party data in enhancing brand experience and media performance, and we’re excited to embark on this journey with CHEP Network, alongside our wider group of partners and agencies.”

When commenting on CHEP’s forthcoming work with Tourism NT, the agency’s chief technology officer, Mark Gretton, said that CHEP is committed to bolstering Tourism NT while promoting the richness of First Nations culture prevalent in the northern region.

“Building local skills in effective technology solutions that are both easy to execute and highly effective was central to our strategy,” said Gretton.

“The NT is blessed with First Nations heritage, cultural richness, and natural beauty. It’s a privilege to support the team in promoting these assets around the world.

“We look forward to announcing new initiatives with Tourism NT in the coming months.”
