2m watch Block winners revealed
Last night’s winner announcement of The Block: All Stars, which saw Amity and Phil Rankine win the contest, rated a strong 2.119m for Nine, making it the top show of the night and delivering the network a peak time share win.
The Block, which ran for around two-and-a-half hours, was coded as three separate shows. The auction show rated 2.011m and the rest of the show rated 1.646m, according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTAM.
However, all three parts were down on last year’s main series of The Block, which rated 2.969m for the winner announcement, 2.561m for the auction and 2.191m for the rest of the show.
Meanwhile, Seven’s My Kitchen Rules was fourth for the night, rating 1.563m.
Ten’s comedy drama Mr and Mrs Murder, starring Shaun Micallef and Kat Stewart, rated 496,000, 14th for the night. It was narrowly beaten by ABC1′s Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell which rated 527,000 and was 13th.
In the 18-49 demographic, Mr and Mrs Murder improved to 12th position.
Nine’s share of the evening audience was 30.6 per cent, ahead of Seven’s 22.3 per cent. Next came ABC1 with 11.2 per cent, followed by Ten with 9.4 per cent.
The tight breakfast battle went the way of Seven’s Sunrise, which beat Nine’s Today by 338,000 to 332,000.
The pendulum swung back to Nine in mid-morning though. Mornings beat Seven’s The Morning Show by 137,000 to 135,000.

Was The Block final last night? I didnt even notice. Thats how much i was interested in the show. So i guess after Easter it will be The Block, The Voice etc
