ARN re-launches station websites with Cold Chisel footage and $50,000 prize giveaway

Australian Radio Network has today given away $50,000 in a guess-that-sound competition as part of the relaunch of its stations’ websites.

Following the re-launch of the Mix websites on June 20, the ‘Ultimate Ear Test’ competition was launched on Melbourne’s Mix 101.1 where listeners were invited to guess the ‘secret sound’ for their chance to win the cash. The prize was awarded this afternoon.  

The campaign was supported by outdoor featuring breakfast hosts Bridge and Lehmo.

Anthony Moller, head of online for ARN, said daily visits to the Mix 101.1 site have doubled since the re-launch with time spent on the site increasing by 30 per cent.

The Classic Hits website re-launched today with footage from yesterday’s press conference when Australian band Cold Chisel announced their next tour.

The Edge 96.1 and Cruise 1323 websites will be re-launched in the coming weeks.
