    i’m completely mystified as to why CEOs don’t invest more in what is clearly a business-critical area!

  6. @Kelly – you can hope, but experience tells me there is still a long way to go for many companies. A lot of my clients are keen in theory, but just unwilling or unable to devote time/resources to it.

  10. Companies don’t devote time and resources to it because there are simply more worthy projects. Maybe when social media stops billing itself as the second coming of Christ and blends into other corporate comms business will take it more seriously
