Breaking promos
Rather sweetly, Nine News Queensland has created a tribute to the opening of Aaron Sorkin drama The Newsroom.
The main difference that Dr Mumbo can spot is that only one of the show’s rundowns appears to carry a blatant cross promotion for a network reality TV contest.

Have they no shame? Stupid question.

Good thing creative agencies never knick some else’s ideas!

They stole my idea of stealing from Newsroom. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaLa3HcTYvc

@bucks – i don’t think they stole your idea… (and I watched your video – so +1 for views, I acknowledge you as the source)
but if they did, they did it better, execution is key.
I am sad that 9 couldn’t get the actual music – it is emotive and the association I get is of an underdog news team bringing REAL stories that their audience need to see, not being biased and full of … well anything other than truth.
Bold goal, noble even:
Perhaps if the actual newsrooms were more like ‘The Newsroom’ papers wouldn’t be closing so fast (I’m not suggesting you romance you colleagues, more about the NEWS… but if your single and they’re..). Where is the passion? Where is the ideas and executions that make me want to read the paper? Print is a joy to engage in (I often have newsprint marks all over my desk and sometimes on my face – the real concern is the content, not the delivery system).
Newspapers may not have an unlimited lifespan but as much as they are ‘dying’, those in the newsroom, in the offices and in control are ‘killing’ them.
