Commercial Radio Australia launches Christmas campaign
Industry body Commercial Radio Australia has launched a Christmas campaign, which features big radio advertisers Dick Smith, JB Hi Fi and Harvey Norman.
Created by radio specialist Eardrum, four 30-second radio ads focus on digital radio sound quality, program choice and the two for one deal.
“Dick Smith, JB Hi Fi and Harvey Norman retailers have been very supportive of digital radio and are being acknowledged specifically in the Christmas ad campaign in recognition of extra levels of support and promotional activity of the digital radio category this Christmas retail cycle,” said Joan Warner, head of CRA.
The ads will run across 42 commercial stations in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.
Running in support, banner ads will appear in trade media and across all 42 commercial station websites.
(Declaration of interest: CRA ads for digital radio are also running on Mumbrella)
Not the week to launch an ad for Commercial Radio.

Also a tad late to start a campaign for Christmas gift ideas.
