Johnson & Johnson senior marketer joins Seven West Media in newly created partnership role

Rowena_MillwardJohnson & Johnson marketing boss Rowena Millward has switched from client to agency side after being poached by Seven West Media to spearhead partner relations.

She will take the newly created role of director, client partnerships after spending the past 11-years in senior marketing positions with Johnson & Johnson. Millward’s most recent role was vice president of marketing for Asia Pacific, a position she held until March.

Millward also had a four-year spell with Procter and Gamble, and had a previous stint at Johnson & Johnson, along with tenures with Berri and Coca-Cola.

The appointment is a major coup for Seven West Media, with the media firm acknowledging she will bring a marketing perspective to the role.

Seven West Media chief revenue officer Kurt Burnette said:  “This is a great appointment for Seven West Media and a great appointment for our agency and client partners.

“Rowena will provide a marketing aligned perspective to understanding client and customer needs and meeting those needs using the power of Seven West Media’s media platforms, our content, our data insights and our production expertise.

“Rowena comes with a wealth of marketing experience across a wide range of companies and we look forward to her joining us and adding further depth to our company’s already very strong sales team.”

Millward said the combined knowledge of marketers and Seven West Media will create powerful “end to end” marketing communication that will drive “measureable commercial outcomes”.

“This new partnership model will help marketers better understand how to harness the full value of Seven West Media beyond just media, including more extended and integrated ideas, content and production, which makes Seven West Media a powerful ‘one stop shop’.” she said.

Millward joins Seven West Media on 1 May.
