Mediacom appoints Geoff Clarke MD Sydney

Geoff Clarke, New MD of Mediacom Sydney.

Media agency Mediacom has appointed Geoff Clarke to the newly created role of managing director sydney.

Clarke has been with the company for over seven years and has worked across various aspects of the business, most recently he was responsible for running MediaCom’s entertainment division.

He will work closely with CEO Mark Pejic on the company’s business strategy. He joins newly appointed Peter Barrie, Managing Director Melbourne and Nicole Boyd, Managing Director Brisbane as local heads of the agency.

Pejic said: “I am delighted to have Geoff as a partner in the Sydney business. We are blessed with having an abundance of talent at MediaCom and Geoff has clearly been a lead in this talent pool.  I look forward to working with him more closely as a partner to continue to build success in the future”.

The news comes a few weeks after the departure of the boss of MediaCom’s Melbourne operation Phil Phelan.
