MediaCom Melbourne retains Specsavers account

Screen Shot 2013-08-26 at 1.04.54 PMMediaCom Melbourne has retained the $20m Specsavers account it has held for six years following a four way pitch.

Pete Barrie, MediaCom MD, said the agency is delighted to be awarded the account estimated to be worth around $20m in billings.

“This was not a simple review process; it was a tough competitive pitch and one which we fought hard to retain,” said Barrie.

Specsavers marketing director Stewart Roussel said: “The Mediacom team put forward a very strong strategic and competitive offering and didn’t take their position as the incumbent agency for granted. We are very happy to move forward together with this new relationship.”

MediaCom Melbourne has also celebrated the RECMA No1 Australian ranking earlier in the year.
