Mr Rude
You’ve probably formed your own views on whether the News Corp anti-Rudd push is the right thing to do, but Dr Mumbo has to admit, when it comes to campaigning journalism, Sydney’s Daily Tele is a world-beater.
For those not following every twist and turn of the election, the front page refers to Rudd’s apparent rudeness to the woman doing his makeup in this week’s leaders debate.
Fair to say, it’s beginning to annoy Mr Rude, sorry, Rudd…

Is that the first time in 4 years we’ve heard the words “a fair shake of the sauce bottle” (2:12) mentioned on television? Could it be the turning point of the election campaign? I’m all giddy with anticipation, waiting on baited breath for the next sound bite. Got to zip.

Rudd is certainly right about one thing – the Daily Tele has not put Abbott ‘under one minute of scrutiny’. Not once over the past 3 years. Not a single policy has been questioned or critically examined. Pretty incredible.
