Nicola Swankie and Joel Pearson join The Conscience Organisation in social media roles

nicola swankiejoel pearsonThe Conscience Orgnisation has added to its growing stable of social media practitioners with Nicola Swankie joining the agency from ad agency Host and Joel Pearson from media agency PHD. The duo are joining as social and content directors.

Announcing the double hiring, TCO founder Clive Burcham said: “The major trouble we face is finding people with a great knowledge of commercialising social media in this country. Nicola has a background in bringing innovative creative ideas to life for clients so she will be a real asset to the team.

“We are delivering a high level of accountability around social media. We are excited for Joel  to join us as his background in media planning will only increase this level of accountability.”

Burcham added: “I think we have one of the best business models for offering social media and content in the Australian market. Being able to create the conversation points through content and distributing that content seems to be a winning formula”.

He said that the agency is seeking to make further hires in the social and content areas to work on clients such as Nestle, Coca-Cola, Westfield, Fosters and CBA. The roles include another social and content account director.

Swankie tweets as @swankins while Pearson is @JoelyRighteous. Swankie’s blog is Happiness We Share while Pearson’s is Joely Righteous.
