Pandora hunts for new commercial director following the departure of Jon Stubley

John StubleThe Australian arm of music streaming service Pandora is looking for a new commercial director following the departure of Jon Stubley.

Stubley had been in the role for two years and has previously worked as group direct sales manager for Macquarie Radio and prior to that general sales manager of Australian Radio Network.

“Jon has made a decision to step away and spend more time with his family, and also to focus on some family business interests for a while,” said Jane Huxley, managing director of Pandora.

“We are sorry to see him go, and are recruiting for a commercial director to take us into the next phase of our growth.”

Stubley told Mumbrella he was proud of what he had achieved at the streaming service: “I’ve had an absolutely fantastic time building the sales division at Pandora.

“It’s in great shape but now is the time for me to move on to some other projects closer to home.”

The US company, which claims more than 3m registered Australian users, is currently advertising the position.
