PHD’s Andy Littlewood switches to Mediacom

andy_littlewoodMediacom has hired PHD’s Andy Littlewood as its chief data and ROI officer.

Littlewood was PHD’s director of analytics and direct since 2008. Prior to that he worked at Aegis before starting his media agency career with a three year stint at Mediacom in the UK.

Littlewood will lead a team of 30 focusing on direct response, analytics, data and econometric modelling.

Mediacom CEO Toby Jenner said: “Placing client, consumer and sales data at the heart of our planning process is a critical component in delivering our clients successful communications solutions. Andy is simply the best in market and will further enhance not only our approach to data but also the science behind what is driving our client’s business success”.

Littlewood, who will continue to work at PHD until June, said: “I’ve been watching Mediacom with a lot of interest over the last two years. They are an agency headed in the right direction, very quickly.”

PHD MD Toby Hack told Mumbrella that the agency has started a search for a replacement, which will take place both locally and internationally. He said: “We wish Andy all the best and we’re sorry to lose him.”

  2. A very strong appointment by Mediacom and an unfortunate loss for PHD. Andy is an absolutely brilliant person to work with and an all-round top guy.
