Tim, this pains me as a researcher … but I’m bound by the rules of AMSRS to not adulterate findings and to lay the ‘truth’ as you find it on the table no matter how unpalatable it is to the client.
Well this came in this morning and it is EXCRUTIATINGLY ugly for the market research industry!!! It uses the clip you embedded, but I think it’s unearthed some other equally (more?) painful attempts.
All I can say is:
* I’m a quant and not a quallie … phew! (92.7% of quants claim they would NEVER or are HIGHLY UNLIKELY to participate in crap PR videos)
* Please remember they’re not Australian research companies
* I think we just proved the null hypothesis that “Just because you can doesn’t mean you shoul” to be true.
* If you can endure it … listen for the ‘electro-encephalography’ bit
