Starcom picks up $16m in new business – Novartis and True Value Solar

Starcom has put the painful loss of Holden behind it with a double win reckoned to be worth $16m – drug company Novartis and True Value Solar.

Starcom issued the following press release:February 28, 2012: Starcom MediaVest has picked up more than $16m in new business including Novartis and True Value Solar.

Starcom won pharmaceutical giant Novartis in a global pitch from incumbent MEC. It will manage the over-the-counter business and pharmaceutical activity from April 1.

Meanwhile, Starcom has won the business for Australia’s largest solar specialist, True Value Solar from incumbent Ikon and will begin work from March 1.

Chief Operating Officer Chris Nolan said: “It is great to see some wins on the board so early in the year. We are thrilled to be working on one of the world’s biggest pharmaceuticals in Novartis and Australia’s leading solar provider True Value Solar.”
