Ten wins the Law and Order showdown over Seven
Ten won the Law and Order showdown last night with a new episode of Special Victims Unit (SVU) attracting 951,000 viewers while the debut episode of Law and Order: LA on Seven had 514,000 viewers.
SVU’s 8:30 episode featured a character from the LA series while the second episode at 9:30 was a repeat and fetched 692,000, according to preliminary metro ratings from OzTam.
The Law and Order ratings on Seven fell after the 8:40 episode with the second receiving 425,000.
In the morning ratings race, Sunrise (370,000) beat Today (363,000) in five-city metro totals but Nine’s Today won in Sydney and Melbourne.
The audience for the second episode of ABC1’s legal drama Crownies fell away with 586,000 compared to its debut of 706,000.
Masterchef won the night with 1.6 million.
