WWF launches election ads highlighting climate change
The World Wide Fund for Nature has launched a series of election advertisements aimed at highlighting the need for action on climate change, ahead of the September Federal Election.
The I Am Real – Support Climate Change campaign features four videos representing the Koala, Turtle, The Great Barrier Reef and The Earth, as a whole.
Each 30 second ad begins by describing the challenges facing the animal/environment from climate change before telling the viewers: “I do not have a vote but you do. Please think about the climate when you cast your vote.”
There is also a broader online ‘I am Real’ website which includes a discussion of the Emissions Trading Scheme, The Risks and also a call to action.
The campaign was created by Jane Caro and will run on TV from tomorrow.

A wonderful man, national treasure with the best of intentions.
However “I am real” when it comes to the religious beliefs, apocalyptic world view and associated fatwahs of the loony green left is deeply ironic.
This is clearly a fine example of what actors call “the suspension of disbelief”.

Mike, what part of that included ‘religious beliefs, apocalyptic world views, fatwahs’, or indeed, anything ‘loony’? And where was the irony? You just seem like an ignorant troll with that kind of statement. Which doesn’t speak well of those in your corner.
