Yahoo7 names new head of trading platforms

Yahoo7 has named Ben Chamlet as head of trading platforms.

The appointment: 

Yahoo7 has today announced the appointment of Ben Chamlet as Head of Trading Platforms. Ben will be responsible for Yahoo7 and Yahoo New Zealand’s programmatic advertising strategy and commercial operations to continue to deliver best-in-class solutions for advertisers.

He will report to Ben Green, Sales Director – Programmatic, Audience and Native Ads.

As Head of Trading Platforms, Ben will be tasked with strengthening Yahoo7’s new Ad Exchange which offers increased targeting and optimisation capabilities across Yahoo7 and Yahoo New Zealand’s available inventory.

With around eight million Australian users on desktop, more than seven million on mobile, and three million on tablet, he will play a key role in helping advertisers target audiences with the most relevant and engaging advertising placements optimised across devices.

Ben Chamlet comes to Yahoo7 with more than ten years experience working in digital marketing and customer relationship management roles. His experience spans a number of sales and solutions roles across Australia, the UK and APAC.

Ben will be based in the Yahoo7 Sydney office.
